I first
experienced a Starmap at a friend’s. I
didn’t quite know what to expect as I lay down on the floor, looking up
towards the ceiling. However, when
the lights were turned off, it was as if the ceiling and walls had magically and
suddenly been torn off the house, and I was looking up into the cosmos.
There was the Big Dipper and the North Star.
There was the Milky Way and a number of other constellations.
Even though I knew this was an illusion, something stirred deep inside
and I didn’t want to move. It was
as if I had long ago forgotten, and was now powerfully being reminded, of the
vastness, the magnificence, the wonder and mystery of the universe - home.
I lay on that floor for a long time.
I
wanted to share this experience with others, to combine it with meditation to
make it even more profound and transformative, and had two starmaps installed in
my home – one in my bedroom so I could have this experience every night before
going to sleep, and a second Starmap in my meditation room where I could share
it with others.
If this
is something you would like to experience, and/or would like to know more about
meditation in general, ( let Me know ).

technical, astronomical details or how you can have one installed in your home,
