Hi.  My name is Lou Carcasole.  Welcome to the Radical Growth website.

To date, I have helped well over a thousand people – people just like you - improve the quality of their work and personal lives by teaching them a practice called Mindfulness.  The practice involves working on a set of fundamental skills – the way in which we process all experience. If you can improve the roots of a plant, you know that every branch, twig and leaf will benefit. It’s the same with Mindfulness – as you work on these core skills, every aspect of life is improved - pleasure deepens, stress is reduced, and performance, creativity and effectiveness increase. Anyone can learn this simple practice called Mindfulness.  Anyone can benefit.

As this site is constantly being updated, some links may not be functional.  We apologize for that.  Following are the things that we would like to cover on this site:

     What’s New!

NEW!  - An out of this world STARMAP meditation!  Imagine gazing up into the heavens on a clear summer night and seeing thousands of stars and the Milky Way.  That’s what a starmap experience is like.  Combined with meditation, you’ll be transported to a whole new dimension of relaxation!  For more information, click here

Biographies – I’d like to tell you more about me

Corporate Applications of Mindfulness – Mindfulness can be a very powerful tool for staff development, increasing effectiveness by not only reducing the stress that reduces our ability to perform at higher levels, but also by strengthening abilities in creativity, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal relations.

The Nature of Change – Our attempts to cope with change that has been imposed on us, and our efforts to change ourselves, are often quite difficult. If we hope to improve our ability in this area, we first need to understand why change is so problematic.

About Mindfulness and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction – Once we understand the nature and difficulties regarding change, we know what we can do about it. Mindfulness involves creating the conditions to facilitate gentle, but deep or radical growth/change.  Here we tell you much more about what Mindfulness is and isn’t, and about how and why it works.

The many Benefits of Mindfulness have been well researched and documented.  Here we share with you some of Scientific Research into the effects of Mindfulness, as well as Results Achieved by our students, followed by some of their, Comments and Testimonials.

In each moment lies the potential for a new beginning, a new life! Mindfulness teaches us to be aware of this and to take full advantage of it, resulting in something marvelous – an empowered life, one filled with joy, wisdom, well-being and happiness.

Mindfulness has been referred to as ‘The Art of Living’ and/or ‘The Art of Happiness’. I believe it to be one of the most powerful tools available for personal growth and for cultivating a better life. I wish you the happiness that Mindfulness brings.
