Meditation
gave me my life back. I just wanted to thank you again for everything Lou. You
have been a great inspiration and I am a better and happier person for having
had the opportunity to meet you and work with you. (full text)

Our company has been going through a time of transition, and I brought in Mindfulness Meditation sessions as an important stress management tool for employees. Lou has provided both a four-week and a ten-week program for our company. I cannot recommend these sessions highly enough. Lou is a compassionate and skillful teacher. He can ably respond to the different needs of the group participants and at the same time be available as a one-on-one support to individuals when challenges and issues come up.

Windows sponsored two in-house eight-week [mindfulness] sessions over the last
year. We consider that the programs were extremely beneficial to the health and
well being of most of the participants and highly recommend the program.

I
really enjoyed Lou’s guidance through this program. He showed great patience,
empathy and kindness in a very non-judgmental way. He was very inspirational.

Lou’s
approach is very open and gentle. It is obvious that Lou practices what he
preaches and from the moment I began the program, I knew I was in the hands of a
master instructor. I never felt that Lou was selling meditation or trying to
convince any of us that it was right for everyone but he always managed to keep
all of the people in the course motivated and practicing on a regular basis.

One very welcome improvement Mindfulness Meditation has made in my life is that at night when the neighbour’s dog barks or a fire engine or “Boom car” goes past, I don’t get mad, I just notice, then go back to sleep.

I
went to your website and I felt a wonderful feeling in my heart, one of
appreciation and happiness. I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to be your
student. I am very grateful and proud of you, as a teacher and especially as a
person. J.

I
would definitely be willing to share my experiences with mindfulness and
quitting smoking. As you know, I have tried everything in the past, including
Zyban and the patch. Mindfulness has definitely helped me to focus on how
cravings are transitory. They, like all sensations in the body pass fairly
quickly. You can definitely use meditation in a “mind over matter” way to
conquer addiction. I am convinced of it – and surprised more people don’t do
it. S.S., Male, 40+, MacLean Hunter Publishing ********
Thanks Lou. This is the worst time of year work-wise, and
although I haven't meditated for a while (sorry!), I do find I regularly have
'mindful moments,' usually when I'm at my craziest. They often come by
themselves,
K.
